I lived 15 minutes away from the Henry doorly (this zoo) when I lived in papillion (on the outskirts of Omaha) and even have footage of the same gorrilla hitting the glass on a separate occasion on my channel. the signs outside the primate's enclosure gives descriptions of all of the gorrilla personalities and their ranks in the group. one of them (forgot the name) likes to charge the glass to see people's reaction. yet another reason for the keepers to be careful when building the cage. there's just no way it could break through. There are signs posted everywhere for a REASON these are wild animals in an exhibit you paid to see, you're lucky there is glass to protect you. Don't tap the glass, don't bang on your chest – to them it's threatening they are following natural instincts. Teach your children proper etiquette.
