October 26, 2017 Here's what I would do to better recreate this jellyfish look: You need:1 form fitting top, sturdy material / one short white dress white tullea wide satin band white metal wirethread and needlehot glueat least 6, better more, semitranslucent scarves (dark rimmed ones would be best) twice the length of your leg 1. form three hoopsout of the metal wire, each one larger then the previous 2. interconnect them with !strong! thread/satin bands and hotglue the knots to the wire to secure everything to create a hoop petticoat 3. take all but one of your scarves and make stitches so that they crumble up a bit. knot them to the inner hoop. The less we see your legs the better. You can also glue fairy lights to some of them now 4. cut up the remaining scarf into thin strips and then pull a bit before cutting them in half. sparingly put them onto the outer two hoops Also tak some satin band and do the same with that. 5. hotglue two layers of tulle to your satin band. The band should be long enough to tie around your waist and make a bow. 6. Put shitloads of fairy lights on there! 7. Take some metal wire (about 3/4 of your waist perimeter long) and sew that to the waistband of the tulle construction. Cover the ends in hot glue to prevent injury. 8. Connect hoop skirt and tulle skirt. 9. tie the construction around your waist and enjoy not being able to sit down for the whole evening.
