Thank you!!! Elixirz Kombucha May 19, 2018 DIRT by Kwame DawesWe who gave, owned nothing, learned the value of dirt, howa man or a woman can standamong the unruly growth, look far into its limits,a place of stone and entanglements, and suddenly understandthe meaning of a name, a deed,a currency of personhood. Here, where we have laboredfor another man’s gain, if it is fineto own dirt and stone, it isfine to have a plot wherea body may be planted to rot.We who have built onlythat which others have ownedlearn the ritual of trees, the rites of fruit pickedand eaten, the pleasuresof ownership. We whohave fled with swordat our backs know the thingsthey have stolen from us, and wewill walk naked and filthyinto the open field knowingonly that this piece of dirt, this expanse of nothing,is the earnest of our faithin the idea of tomorrow. We will sell our bonesfor a piece of dirt,we will build new tribesand plant new seedsand bury our bones in our dirt.~ Kwame Dawes Galilea Garcia May 19, 2018 Aye where my others Guatemalans at? It looks sooo much better and I can’t wait to figure out an alternative to straws that really work for us when we are on the go! My 4 year old son seems pretty passionate about all this too which is great! Cause now when we go for walks, and he sees garbage in the grass, he gets very irritated about it because he just cleaned that up!
